Monthly Board of Directors Meeting is the second Thursday of each month at 11:45am.

Crime Committee Meeting, 1pm at the YVLA Office. 
This is a quarterly meeting with the Yakima Police Department to discuss ideas and concerns with the Crime Free Rental Housing program. Open to all members.

The program commitee is ALWAYS looking for additional members and volunteers to help with the Monthly General Membership meetings (door greeters, set-up, and future planning). Do you have an idea for a future program speaker or topic of interest to landlords? The program committee needs you!  Open to all members.

The membership committee works to educate non-members by promoting the services offered by the YVLA. The membership committee also promotes the YVLA Rental Search to prospective tenants seeking available rentals. This committee is always seeking ideas for new benefits to offer existing members. Do you have an idea for additional benefits? The membership committee needs your expertise. Do you know a landlord that is NOT a member? Encourage them to join!

     The Officers and Board of Directors of the YVLA, in an effort to provide you with the information you need to get the most from your membership in the YVLA, are offering a FREE New Member / Refresher Landlord Seminar.
     This FREE program, is a great way to get and stay in touch with the ever changing rental business and the association that helps keep you up to date.
     During the seminar we will cover:
  • The Landlord’s Resource Manual (please bring your copy or request another copy / $30), the
  • YVLA Website (downloading free forms, the Master Unlawful Detainer List, advertising your rental vacancies for free and other free features and information)

  • What is the YVLA PAC Fund?
  • PLUS a general Q&A period
